Directions to the RISD Auditorium

I-195 Westbound
Coming from the east on I-195 westbound, take Exit 2 for South Main Street. Proceed through the first traffic light (College Street). The RISD Auditorium will be the second building on your left.

I-95 North or South
From I-95 north or south take exit 20 onto 195 eastbound. Take Exit 1 Downtown Providence, and at the first traffic light take a right turn onto Dyer Street. Proceed to the third set of lights and take a right onto College Street. Take your first left at the next traffic light onto South Main Street. The RISD Auditorium will be the second building on your left.

Parking for the RISD Auditorium

Parking is available on the street. In addition there are several RISD parking lots on campus. The campus parking lots are available for public parking on the weekends at no charge. The closest lots to the Auditorium are listed below:

South Main Street Lot (Green on map) This lot is directly across the street from the RISD Auditorium, and is next to the Bank building (no. 6 on the map).

ISB Lot (Yellow on map) Continue to the next traffic light on South Main Street at the corner of Waterman Street. The lot is on your left at this corner in front of the ISB building (no. 18 on the map).

Waterman Lot (Blue on map) Continue to the next traffic light at the corner of South Main Street and Waterman Streets. Take your first right onto Waterman Street and proceed up the hill through the traffic light at Benefit Street. The RISD lot is the second parking lot on your right, across the street from the Refectory building (no. 16 on the map).
